Abu Dhabi gains on Dubai with more positive media coverage in the Real Estate sector
The real estate markets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi were alive in Q309, with some unusual trends developing in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. According to the latest report by Landmark Advisory, residential prices in the UAE were more unpredictable than in previous quarters.
The report aims to analyze the media coverage of the real estate sector in the UAE market, with an in-depth focus on Al Qudra Real Estate, Aldar, Emaar, Sorouh, Dubai Properties, Nakheel, Sama Dubai and Damac. A total of 3,225 articles out of 122 publications were monitored throughout the first quarter of 2009 (January-March) for the purpose of this report.

The report aims to analyze the media coverage of the real estate sector in the UAE market, with an in-depth focus on Al Qudra Real Estate, Aldar, Emaar, Sorouh, Dubai Properties, Nakheel, Sama Dubai and Damac. A total of 4,276 articles out of 102 publications were monitored throughout the third quarter of 2008 (July-September) for the purpose of this report.
The report aims to analyze the media coverage of the real estate sector in the UAE market, with an in-depth focus on Al Qudra Real Estate, Aldar, Emaar, Sorouh, Dubai Properties, Nakheel, Sama Dubai and Damac. A total of 4,700 articles out of 125 publications were monitored throughout the fourth quarter of 2008 (October-December) for the purpose of this report.

Eight real estate developers were studied to evaluate their media performance and the public’s trust perception of their brands through the period of 20 July to 20 August. Emaar, Aldar, Sorouh and Damac represent the UAE developers, while Barwa and Qatari Diar represent Qatar. Manara Developments and Al Kaheej Development Co. (Tameer) represent Bahrain.
